Paris Saint-Germain will not sack head coach Christophe Galtier or sporting adviser Luis Campos, according to Le Parisien.

The only thing that will put their jobs at risk is if they fail to win the league title. The club’s authorities want some continuity.

PSG are chasing their 11th Ligue 1 trophy and are well on course to get the job done.

Despite PSG crashing out of the Champions League after losing to Bayern Munich in the round of 16, Galtier and Campos will not lose their jobs.

PSG have struggled with poor results in 2023, leading to talks about a return for Thomas Tuchel.

Club figurehead Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani reportedly wants Zinedine Zidane to coach PSG.

However, PSG have shelved any plans for a new coach, opting to stick with the people they hired less than a year ago.

They want Campos to go back to the drawing board and construct a squad that can challenge in Europe.

The Portuguese director is up for it and wants to disband the club’s dysfunctional forward line.

This could lead to Neymar and Lionel Messi leaving this summer.

PSG tried to sell Neymar last summer but could not find suitors. He stayed and started the season impressively, but his commitment has been questioned.

Messi has performed well this season, but talks over a new deal have stalled. His contract expires in June, and he has been linked with moves elsewhere.

Campos wants to sign Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Manchester City star Bernardo Silva. There are other players on his shortlist.

Galtier has been urging his players to focus on their league title charge. He recently reiterated the importance of PSG winning 11 Ligue 1 titles, overtaking Saint Etienne’s record of ten.

PSG have an eight-point lead over rivals Marseille, and they need to see it out.

The table-toppers face Brest tomorrow and look a good bet to record another league victory.
