Christian Pulisic is willing to cut his holiday short in order to impress Chelsea’s new manager.
That’s according to a story in the London Evening Standard which claims that the America international has opted to have just a week’s break in order to hit the ground running at his new club.
Pulisic will go to the Gold Cup this summer with the USA, but should they make it all the way to the final, the 20-year-old will have just seven days off before Chelsea head to Japan for the start of their pre-season tour.
The Blues have given Pulisic the green light to take an extended break due to his involvement in the tournament, but the player himself has insisted that he wants to be in the Far East and do pre-season with the rest of his team mates.
Who will be leading Chelsea in Japan is yet to be seen, with a much-rumoured pursuit of Frank Lampard yet to bear fruit.
