Christian Pulisic ‘100 per cent’ fit and ‘ready’ in midst of ‘first real full pre-season at Chelsea’ | OneFootball

Chelsea fans will be listening to the latest words from Christian Pulisic as music to their ears.

The American international has had a very inconsistent time as a Chelsea player so far being hindered by injuries and struggling to really build any momentum or solid form.

But his fitness has been good at the latter half of the season, over the summer, and now in pre-season for Chelsea, so the signs are looking positive that this could be the season when he really explodes onto the scene in the Premier League.

The winger has been speaking on the Chelsea website ahead of a new season as he continues to work on his fitness and get match-ready for the start of the season.

He says this is his ‘first real full pre-season’ with Chelsea and that he is feeling ‘100% fit’ and ‘ready’ to go.

“I think that’s going to be a big positive for me, so I’m looking forward to the start of the season. This year is my first real full pre-season at Chelsea and it’s just given me a good chance to get my full fitness and for me to get 100 per cent fit and ready to play 90 minutes once the season begins.

“That’s the aim for me, just trying to get my body in a good place where I can be available as much as possible this season. Hitting the ground running at the start of the season is the goal, of course. It’s nice to be able to have a full pre-season this time and get nice and fit and be 100 per cent ready in time for the start of the season.”
