Manchester United looking to bolster their full-back/wingback department with several signigns, and they could reportedly go fishing in the Bundesliga.

Ruben Amorim is currently relying on the likes of Amad Diallo and Diogo Dalot on the wings in his 3-4-2-1 formation, but the department certainly needs some reinforcements, especially on the left flank amidst the ongoing physical struggles of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

So in his latest column for The Daily Briefing, German journalist Christian Falk named three Bundesliga full-backs who are currently on the Red Devils’ radars.

The transfer market guru notes that Man United’s director of recruitment, Christopher Vivell, is German, which explains why the club has been consistently linked with players currently plying their trade in the Bundesliga.

The first name on the list is Alphonso Davies who is one of the finest left-backs in the world. The 24-year-old is running on an expiring contract but Bayern Munich have recently made progress in their renewal talks with his entourage.

But as reported earlier today, Falk revealed that the player’s agent was irritated by the absence of Max Eberl, the head of sport at Bayern, from a recent meeting, which could provide a small opening for the Red Devils.

The alternative left-back option for the Premier League giants is David Raum. The Germany international has been playing his football at RB Leipzig since the summer of 2022, and his contract is valid until June 2027. Interestingly, Falk believes Raum could become a target for Bayern if Davies ends up leaving the club.

The German journalist also mentions Konrad Laimer who is originally a midfielder but is often deployed at right-back. The 27-year-old Austrian would be happy to stay at Bayern, but he could consider a move if a suitor promises him a more prominent role than the one he holds at Allianz Arena.
