Christian Eriksen Reassures Inter Teammates Of Condition In Private Chat Groups, Italian Media Report | OneFootball

Inter and Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen has given positive updates about his condition and mood to his Inter teammates in the team’s private group chat after collapsing unexpectedly during Denmark’s EURO 2020 opener against Finland on Saturday.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Dane has been speaking with his Nerazzurri teammates today, who are relieved to see that the Dane is stable and in good spirits and eager to lend him their affection and support.

Yesterday there was less contact with the midfielder, as it was thought that rest was important in his recovery and that he should not be disturbed more than necessary.

However, today Eriksen has enjoyed more social contacts with his teammates, bringing a sense of normality and socializing to the player’s room at Copenhagen’s Rigshospitalet.

Eriksen’s updates on his condition to teammates confirm what has been publicly stated – that he is in stable condition, but more tests must be done to determine his overall conditions and the underlying causes of his health emergency.

The likes of Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Perisic, Nicolo Barella, Stefan de Vrij, Romelu Lukaku, and Milan Skriniar are among the Inter players to have made appearances at this summer’s European Championships this summer, with the latter two scoring goals in their country’s openers which they dedicated to the Dane.

Eriksen has also been in contact with Inter man Ashley Young, thought to be his closest personal friend within the Nerazzurri and someone who he has shared vacations and social occasions with, to reintroduce positive social conditions into his life through his recovery.
