AS Monaco have confirmed the contract extension signing of 18-year-old central defender Chrislain Matsima until June 2025.
The Franco-Congolese teenager has featured in Ligue 1 on just eight occasions this season, but the AS Monaco hierarchy clearly feels that he is a potential starter in the future.

Vice President Oleg Petrov had the following to say on the deal:
“This extension is a reward for what Chrislain has done up until now and is encouraging for the future. Chrislain commits himself a little more to the AS Monaco sporting project, for the present but also for the future, and we rejoice at that.”
