Performing and scoring on the big occasion isn’t something new for Chloe Craig, who has showcased her ability in the big games on countless occasions.
And the Celtic FC Women's defender will be aiming to do so once more this weekend, as the Ghirls gear up for another huge derby outing against Rangers in the SWPL.
It has been a positive week for Elena Sadiku's squad, winning three games across seven days against Hamilton Accies, Motherwell and Hibernian.
Now, the Celts are eyeing up another three points in what will be their fourth game on the road during the month of February as they travel to Ibrox this Sunday (February 18).
Speaking to the media ahead of the Glasgow derby, Craig who is a veteran of these big games, said: “It’s a game that we are always excited for, especially when the two names come up.
'It is what you train for, and it’s the games you want to be playing. Everybody knows the rivalry between the two teams, so we are all really looking forward to it.'
“Of course, it’s tight at the top of the league, especially after the results at the weekend.
“So we know what we need to do, and that is what we are focused on, and working on in training.”
After getting the first three wins under her belt over the past week, Elena Sadiku marked her first full month as Celtic head coach earlier this week.
And going into this weekend’s game, Chloe Craig believes there is great belief amongst the players, who know exactly what they are capable of as they eye up a memorable derby victory.
“It’s new. There are things that have changed within the team and within the club,” she said. “So it’s just adapting to that.
“It’s good that Elena has come in and had a structure in place. We have adapted, and we have dealt with that, but it’s something that is new to us and it’s very exciting going forward.
'We know ourselves that we are a good team. We have shown and proved that.'
“We believe in each other, and believe in ourselves as a team. There is more to work on, of course there is, and there is still a long season ahead.
“But it’s exciting, so we're just looking forward to the game.”
Following a busy week, which has seen the Hoops travel from Hamilton to Edinburgh for three away matches in a row, another away day awaits this weekend in Govan.
As has been the case at every away game this season, Craig is expecting the Celtic fans to travel out in their numbers and play their part in cheering on the Ghirls in another huge game.
She said: “Of course, it’s a bit clichéd, but everybody says they are your 12th player, and to us they really are.
"They follow us everywhere, and that is something we really appreciate. We hear them every single week.
“When we need that little bit of a burst, we look to them and we hear them cheering us on.”
