Getafe, Spain - Chivas have started their tour of Spain on the right foot with a 1-0 win over Getafe. The Rebaño got off to a slow start but gained momentum as the game transpired, offering a good display of soccer in the second half, with an outstanding performance by Fernando Beltrán, who crowned his participation with a well-deserved goal that ultimately gave the win to the team from Guadalajara.

- El Rebaño opened the scoring at 65', in a run down the left flank by Carlos Cisneros, who put in a surgical pass for the arrival of Fernando Beltrán, the 'Nene' sent the ball into the net with a masterful touch, far out of the goalkeeper's reach.
