After not playing a single minute in LaLiga for the last three months, there have been many rumours claiming that José Juan Macías would have his Getafe loan move cut short.

His place in the team looks bleak as manager Quique Sánchez Flores has yet to give him a chance after his arrival in early October.

However, Chivas sporting director Ricardo Peláez has revealed in an interview with TUDN that there are no plans to bring the 22-year-old back to Guadalajara.

“We have not had communication with him because he has been with Getafe and you have to be respectful.

“We have not received any communication from Getafe either and we are going to let them honour their agreement.”

Macías has only featured seven times for Getafe in LaLiga this season, accumulating just 197 minutes.
