What was an open secret, has now become official: Adrián Villalobos is a new Chivas player for the Guard1anes 2020 season.
It was the footballer himself who made the announcement, showing off the rojiblancos colours on Twitter accompanied by sporting director Ricardo Peláez sports director and Mariano Varela.
It should be noted that the idea is for Villalobos to join Club Deportivo Tapatío, which is the official reserve club of Chivas in Liga de Expansión MX.
However, by having a unique card, it will be possible for the player to play for Chivas next season as well.
The 22-year-old operates as a winger on either side, so he will be an option for Luis Fernando Tena in case he cannot count on Jesús Angulo, Uriel Antuna, or Isaac Brizuela.
