The Chivas and their young striker José Juan Macías finally reached an agreement on Tuesday to end their dramatic back-and-forth with a happy ending.
According to Diario Record, Macías will feature for Chivas during the 2020 Clausura after renewing his contract, only to modify his salary.
While on loan with León, Macías scored 19 goals in 40 games and led them to the 2019 Liga MX Clausura final. Macías has since earned five caps for Mexico, scoring four goals.
Chivas, who won their last three games of the 2019 Apertura, have been very busy since Ricardo Peláez took over the sporting director role adding players and getting their squad together for the upcoming season.
Uriel Antuna, José Antonio Madueña, and José Juan Vázquez are the first signings of the Peláez era so far, with many more to be confirmed most likely this week.
Though Macías had reported on Monday to comply with medical and physical tests, his renewal had not been confirmed.
