Finally! It took Chivas four games to do so, but they were finally able to pick up all three points on Wednesday as they defeated FC Juárez 2-0.
José Juan Macías and Jesús Angulo scored Chivas’ first two goals of the season ten minutes apart as their second-half flurry allowed the rojiblancos to temporarily move up to 13th place.
However, it wasn’t all great news as second-half substitute Alexis Vega was sent off in stoppage time after picking up his second yellow card of the match.
As a result, Vega will be suspended for Chivas’ match this Saturday against Atlético San Luis.
Though Marco Fabián recently joined FC Juárez, he did not dress for tonight’s match.
