Chivas 'in talks' with Monterrey over sale of Alexis Vega 👀

Chivas are considering parting with Alexis Vega, if reports of a shock move to Monterrey are to be believed.

Rayados are supposedly leading the race to take the 24-year-old attacker away from the Flock.

Monterrey-based journalist Axel Solís has tweeted that Vega is looking for a house in the area as “negotiations continue” between the two clubs.

As a prized asset, Vega would almost certainly fetch a decent price for the cash-strapped Guadalajara outfit.

However the sale would no doubt enrage Chivas supporters already upset by how far Los Rojiblancos have slipped down the Liga MX pecking order.

One to keep an eye on with the start on the 2022 Clausura on the horizon.
