Chivas are reportedly seeking defensive reinforcements this off-season with the club said to be in advanced talks with Víctor Guzmán.
The 20-year-old defender currently plays for Tijuana in Liga Mx and, according to TUDN, is held in high regard by new sporting director Fernando Hierro.
Guzmán has established himself as a pillar in the heart of the Tijuana side since making to move jump uo to the first team in 2019, featuring 15 times for the Xolos and scoring one goal this past season.
Chivas finished in ninth place during the 2022 Liga Mx Apertura campaign but were knocked out of the post-season in the first round against Puebla.
