Chivas finding the right 'balance' between youth and experience | OneFootball

One of the toughest tasks in Liga MX is finding the appropriate balance between youth and experience in your squad.

According to Statiskicks, Chivas are one of the better teams in the top flight in this regard.

As the above graphic illustrates, the Flock have an abundance of youngsters at their disposal, a few players in their peak years and just a handful in the twilight years of their careers.

As ever, the key for the hierarchy at Los Rojiblancos is to try and guide the developing players through and bring in key additions from outside if and when possible.

The club policy of only having Mexican players certainly makes this harder to achieve.

But Chivas fans will hope the work being done at academy level will bear fruit and propel them to success in the not-too-distant future.
