Chivas Femenil played a great match, but a controversial marking in the second half gave life to their rival, so the first leg of the Clasico de Mexico Semifinals of the Clausura 2025 ended tied at 2-2. The Rojiblancas gave a great performance in front of the 35 thousand Chivahermanos who supported them from the stands of the AKRON Stadium, a boost that they will take with them to the second leg, which will be played on Sunday, May 4 at the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium with the Chiva Nation of the Rojiblanca Capital.

Amidst a spectacular atmosphere at Guadalajara's home, Antonio Contreras' team went into the Red and White Fortress with the conviction of giving a good performance against their fierce rivals, and that's how it was: the team from Guadalajara played toe-to-toe at all times and despite being down on the scoreboard at the end of the first half, they relied on their experience in these instances to recover quickly in the second half. Alicia Cervantes scored twice to give the Rebaño Sagrado the lead with two superb finishes.

To close the series in the Red-and-White Capital, Chivas Femenil must win by any score to reach the CL25 Grand Final.

The goals

- At 39', Angelique Saldívar shot inside the box and beat Blanca Félix to open the scoring.- The 'Depredator' equalized! At 52' and after a great set piece by Carolina Jaramillo, Alicia Cervantes appeared at the near post to send it home to the roar of the AKRON.- That makes 15 in the Clasico de Mexico! At 73', 'Licha' scored again, this time shooting from the penalty spot underneath Paños.- At 94', Nancy Antonio tied the match from the penalty spot.

Dangerous moments

- At 6', the first was for the 'Comandante', who drove down the right, cut to the middle and shot a left-footed shot to the far post, just wide of the opponent's goal.- The 'Depredator' almost scored! At 16' Alicia Cervantes won the back of a great screen by Jaramillo, received in the area and at the moment of shooting could not settle properly, so she was able to hit Paños' position.- Once again 'Licha'! At 26', Guadalajara's historic goal scorer won the ball in the box and took a first-time shot at the base of the post, inches away from becoming a goal.- At 92' Jaqueline Rodríguez headed inside the box, but Paños made a save.
