Las Chingonas had a great night at the Akron Stadium, as they defeated Necaxa 4-0, in Matchday 9 of the Clausura 2024, to reach 19 points and momentarily climb to fifth place in the overall standings.

In addition, Guadalajara became the best home team so far this semester by accumulating 13 points in the Perla Tapatía, surpassing the total accumulated by América and Rayadas at home.

The Rebaño's next match will take place this Sunday, March 10, when they travel to El Encanto Stadium to face Mazatlán at 7 PM.

The Goals

-Just 10' into the game, the Red-and-White house erupted after a great shot from Dana Sandoval, who crossed the ball over the Necaxista goalkeeper with the marker on top of her.

-Five minutes later, an own goal by Brissa Rangel led to Guadalajara's second goal. A poor clearance from her backline went in the direction of the goal, which the visiting keeper was unable to stop.

-It was at 18' that the Chiva Nation screamed with excitement once again, thanks to an accurate header by 'Caro' Jaramillo, on a service from 'Gaby' Valenzuela, who beat Rangel's shot with her left hand.

-At 69', Dana sealed her brace, with an excellent service from 'Montse' Hernández that the Red-and-White homegrown player headed gainst the Necaxista goal.

Dangerous moments

-At minute 11, a corner kick to the near post caused the hydrocálidas to tremble as the rojiblanco attack headed the ball out of the net.

-In the 29th minute, 'Dani' Delgado tried a mid-range shot: she settled the ball and volleyed it towards the opponent's goal, without enough power to beat the goalkeeper.

-In the 35th minute, 'Caro' took a left-footed shot that flirted with the near post, but was well saved by Rangel.

-On the next play, 'Boyi' Iturbide had the fourth with a cross header that went just wide of the Necaxista post.

-Another long-range shot was presented to 'Dani' at 38', with Rangel's save.

-At 42', 'Boyi' burst the visitors' crossbar with a great header at the entrance to the six-yard box, after anticipating her marker; unfortunately for her, the ball went out of bounds.

-At the end of the first half, Jaramillo tried again with her left foot, looking for the upper left corner, but just missed.

-At 61' it was Casandra Montero who tried from distance, but her shot ended up in the goalkeeper's position.

-At 73', Damaris Godínez's shot seemed to sneak into the top corner of Rangel's goal, but a diving header managed to avoid the Chingonas' fifth goal.
