With commitment and good soccer, the Chingonas dominated the Clasico de Mexico and defeated the Águilas 2-1 this Sunday night at the Estadio Akron, in Matchday 11 of the Clausura 2024, a result that catapulted the Rebaño to sub-leadership of the pink circuit with 24 points.

La Fortaleza Rojiblanca weighed in and pushed their Red-and-White players at all times, which was reflected in the final score. Chivas Femenil will visit Tigres next Saturday, March 23 at the Estadio Universitario in an attempt to close the gap with the felines at the top of the CL24.

Goals

-At 54', the Águilas moved the scoreboard from a penalty kick taken by Andrea Pereira.

-The 'Comandante' equalized at 68'. 'Caro' Jaramillo took the responsibility of taking the spot kick and did it perfectly, with a shot that deceived the goalkeeper by opening the inside of her left foot.

-In the final stretch of the match, 'Boyi' appeared to give Guadalajara the win! With 86' on the clock, the 'Doctor of Goal' intercepted a series of rebounds inside the box with an acrobatic shot that left the Aguilas' keeper with no options.

The dangerous ones

-At 7', 'Dani' Delgado got into the box, and with a right-footed shot, she demanded a save from the visiting goalkeeper, who had difficulty stopping the shot.

-Once again, the Chiva Nation rose from its seat at 13', when Dana Sandoval took the ball in the final third of the field, faced one-on-one, and shot a left-footed cross, just inches from the Blue and Yellows' post.

-At 30', Rubí Soto broke down the left and served to Dana at the near post, but the defense's cross prevented the red-and-white youth player's shot from being strong enough to beat the goalkeeper.

-At 39', Karla Martínez got up inside the box to connect with a set piece by 'Caro' Jaramillo, which went just over the crossbar,

-In the first play of the second half, Blanca Félix was on hand to stop two shots that threatened to add to the scoreboard, but the Rebaño captain reacted well to deflect both shots.

-At 49', Guadalajara's first goal could have come from the right of 'Boyi' Iturbide, who looked for the upper corner of the goal but was barely blocked by the rival goalkeeper.

-At 64', 'Dani' had a chance from half distance in an individual play by Rubí, but it was just wide of the visitors' goal.

-Soto rattled the crossbar at 72', lifting the ChivaHermanos off their seats. He received from the left, came out of two to the center, and let fly with his right foot, which rattled the metal of the capital's goal.
