We are less than a year away from the 2026 World Cup, in which Mexico will be one of the host countries and the AKRON Stadium will host several matches. However, today we will talk about something that has to do directly with Guadalajara, as five players from the squad were called up by Javier Aguirre for the training camp that will start in the coming days.

Chivas is the team that contributes the most players to this call-up, as five of the 23 selected are Rojiblancos. Raúl Rangel, Bryan González, Diego Campillo, Luis Romo, and Armando González are the members of the Rebaño Sagrado who will report to the Mexican Football Federation's High Performance Center on Sunday, August 24, to undergo a series of training sessions under the command of "El Vasco." This training camp includes only players from Liga MX and will conclude on Wednesday, August 27.

The Rojiblancos national team players will report to Gabriel Milito once their work with El Tri is complete, so they will be eligible for the Week 7 match against Cruz Azul, which will be played on Saturday, August 30, at AKRON Stadium.
