This is the second time the 24-year-old striker has left on loan, previously having joined León on loan from summer 2019 to summer 2021, though not scoring in 29 appearances.

Ricardo Peláez also addressed the rumours about a potential José Juan Macías return, claiming that there have not been any discussions between Chivas and Getafe.

“Macías is on loan to Getafe for a year and they have not notified us about him.”

The 22-year-old Macías has failed to live up to the hype in Spain, being held scoreless in eight appearances, totalling just 221 minutes.
