With regard to Matchday 4 of the Clausura 2025 between Chivas and León, it's time to remember a very special moment for two players who emerged from the Cantera Rojiblanca, who experienced their first minutes in the top flight during a visit by the Rebaño Sagrado to the Nou Camp.
On July 3, 2023, Guadalajara earned three points in the Pearl of the Bajío by defeating the Panzas Verdes by 1-2; however, the result was not the most special part of that night, but what happened in the 60', 74' and 87' minutes.
Chivas made 3 debuts, and one of them was key to the complete win. Yael Padilla, Raúl Martínez and Jesús Brigido came on as substitutes to fulfill a dream, especially Yael, who took advantage of the occasion to make his debut as a Rojiblanco striker by scoring the winning goal after just 7 minutes on the pitch.
Today, both Padilla and Raúl Martínez work and participate in Guadalajara's First Team. Their soccer history with Chivas and their professional consolidation process continues and they will surely look to play a great role in Day 4 of the Clausura 2025.
Rojiblanco Note...- In the last 2 years alone, Chivas has debuted 14 players from the Cantera Rojiblanca: Raúl Rangel, Raul Martínez, Yael Padilla, Jesús Brigido, Mateo Chávez, Armando González, Gael García, Leonardo Sepúlveda, Teun Wilke, Miguel Gómez, Hugo Camberos, Diego Ochoa, Eduardo García and Daniel Flores; all as recurring starters or as an option from the bench.
