With Jesús Dueñas set to see out his contract at Tigres at the end of the season, other sides are already preparing to step up and bring the veteran in for the 2022 Clausura campaign.
The Tigres board have announced they do not plan to renew the 32-year-old, who has been at the institution since 2008.
According to the newspaper El Universal, both Chivas and Juárez are already beginning to prepare offers to bring Dueñas in as a free agent.
Chivas have been after the player for several years but have not been able to sign him due to his high price tag in the past.
However, Juárez may have the edge as they have Tuca Ferretti at the helm, who managed Dueñas for a decade at Tigres.
These would not be the only options for Dueñas as MLS outfits Real Salt Lake and San Jose Earthquakes are also rumoured to be seeking his signature.
