Barcelona must register the signing of Dani Olmo before continuing talks with Juventus and Federico Chiesa, but reports in Italy suggest that Roma remain interested in the Italian winger, especially after Paulo Dybala’s sale.
Sport claims that the Italian star has already agreed to personal terms with Barcelona, while Juventus should lower their €15m asking price.
Italian sources such as Sky Sport Italia confirm Barcelona’s interest but insist that Chiesa hasn’t yet shaken hands with Barcelona, although the Catalans are among his primary options.
The latest report from Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Barcelona must register Dani Olmo’s purchase before entering formal negotiations with Juventus and their winger.
TMW and Tuttosport are among the sources reporting that Barcelona are in the front row for Chiesa, especially because they’ll be playing Champions League football this season.
Despite that, Roma remain interested and are closely monitoring the situation as Chiesa is seen as a possible reinforcement once Dybala officially joins Al-Qadsiah.
This means that if Barcelona don’t register Olmo quickly, Roma will have a fair chance to resume talks and potentially convince Chiesa to move to the Stadio Olimpico.
