Chiellini comments on Juventus, Bremer and Kolo Muani: ‘If there’s an opportunity’ | OneFootball

Giorgio Chiellini has given his thoughts on Juventus ahead of their 2025-256 Serie A season opener against Parma on Sunday evening, and has also weighed in with brief updates on Gleison Bremer and transfer target Randal Kolo Muani.

The Bianconeri are hosting Parma at 19.45 BST on Sunday evening.

Chiellini: ‘If there’s an opportunity for Juventus to improve, we’ll do it’

Chiellini, who is currently acting as Juve’s head of institutional relations, spoke to the media ahead of kick-off between the Old Lady and Parma on Sunday evening.

“I think Tudor spoke very well yesterday,” he told DAZN (via TMW). “We’re trying to create a solid team, working together game by game. We’ll see what happens later.”

Sunday’s match brings an opportunity for Bremer to start in Serie A for the first time since the cruciate ligament (ACL) injury he picked up during a Champions League league phase clash against RB Leipzig in October.

“I’ve spoken to him from the beginning up until now,” Chiellini said. “He’s gaining more and more confidence. His presence is important for his teammates and for the fans. We’re happy he’s doing well.”

Chiellini then said that Juventus will look to improve if there is an opportunity to do so when asked if he expects to see Kolo Muani return to Juventus after his successful loan spell during the second half of the 2024-25 campaign.

“If there’s an opportunity to improve the team, we’ll do it.

“Igor (Tudor) is making his stamp, not only technically, but also on player selection. This is the case for everyone. What happens on the pitch will speak for itself.”
