Inter Miami were hammered 4-1 by Chicago on Wednesday evening as Xherdan Shaqiri proved to be the star of the show.

Miami were, once again, without the injured Lionel Messi and that lack of firepower in attack showed as they were humbled in the midwest.

Former Liverpool man Shaqiri netted twice in the second half whilst team mate Maren Haile-Selassie also got two of his own.

It means that Tata Martino’s side are now second from bottom in the Eastern Conference and have it all to do to make the play-offs.
