Chelsea prize money revealed if they win the Champions League final

According to Football.london, Chelsea could land upwards of £95m in prize money if they win the Champions League final. The players will also be sharing a handsome £10m bonus pot if they emerge victorious on Saturday.

It has been a long journey for both clubs which will culminate in a UCL final. Chelsea had to go through a managerial change mid-season. However, they emerged stronger and defeated the likes of Atletico and Real Madrid to reach the final. City were not given an easy hand either as they made it to their first-ever UCL final after beating a strong PSG side.

Nonetheless, it has been a very profitable run in Europe’s top competition for the Blues. So far, they have earned a collective £92.3m in their journey to the final. An additional £3.45m will be awarded if they manage to win against City on the 29th of May in Porto.

Chelsea players will also receive a share of the bonus of £10m if they win. Even if they don’t, they will get around £5m. The key players are likely to get a higher share, while fringe players who have been involved only in the group stages will get some extra cash.
