Nicolas Jackson’s future at Chelsea has been a subject of speculation.
Juventus and Napoli are interested in signing the Senegal international, while three Premier League clubs and teams in Saudi Arabia have also been linked.
However, the Blues plan to have two strikers in their squad next season and Jackson is not for sale at the moment, per Sky Sports.
The 24-year-old penned a two-year contract last summer, extending his deal at Stamford Bridge until 2033.
Jackson joined Chelsea from Villarreal two years ago in a deal worth around £30 million. He has shown flashes of his brilliance but has struggled to perform on a consistent basis.
The young centre-forward has produced impressive goalscoring numbers, registering 30 goals and 12 assists in 80 appearances across all competitions.
However, he has endured periods of goal droughts and disciplinary issues during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Jackson’s latest lapse in discipline came in Friday’s 3-1 loss to Flamengo at the Club World Cup when he was sent off for a studs-up challenge minutes after coming on as a substitute.
He later apologised for the red card on social media, but his mistake will give newcomer Liam Delap the chance to establish himself as Enzo Maresca’s first-choice striker.
Chelsea signed Delap from Ipswich Town after seeing off competition from Manchester United, Newcastle United and Everton.
