The possible arrival of N’Golo Kante at Inter is linked to the possible departure of Milan Skriniar according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.
Skriniar is subject to interest from Tottenham Hotpsur, who should pay Inter €45 million for the Slovakian national team player. If he does leave, Inter will need to bring in a replacement and it could be Manchester United’s Chris Smalling.
As Inter would need to spend some of the funds raised through Skriniar’s sale on a replacement, the Nerazzurri club would need further sales in addition to Skriniar if they want to bring in Kante, who Inter manager Antonio Conte dreams of working with again following his previous success with the Frenchman at Chelsea a few yeard ago.
Matias Vecino could depart for Napoli whilst Inter are awaiting offers for other midfielders Radja Nainggolan, Christian Eriksen and Marcelo Brozovic.
