N’Golo Kante could just be the perfect replacement for Casemiro at Real Madrid.
The Los Blancos are rumoured to have revived their interest in N’Golo Kante this summer and are reportedly willing to match the £71million for the French midfielder. (Dailymail UK)
Having won the La Liga after 3 seasons in 2020, the Whites have a newfound confidence in a squad overhaul under Zidane, and strengthening their midfield has been on the club’s agenda for quite a while now.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have already secured the services of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner. The Blues are very strongly linked to Kai Havertz and Declan Rice.
The Frenchman averages a tackle every 36 minutes and holds a pass success rate at 83.2% and has one of the highest recovery rates and final third gains in Europe (AS). His 9 goals and 6 assists in 127 appearances for Chelsea don’t stand much as a fancy number.
Kante is 29 and Chelsea should look to offload the World Cup winner. Chelsea are looking to raise funds looking to reinforce their midfield and defense. They can buy a younger replacement in Declan Rice and refresh the roster.
