By and large, Chelsea fans are feeling very frustrated at the moment after another bad performance and another bad result.

The Blues never got into gear against Brighton, and while they did take the lead from a long shot, they never looked like holding on to it.

A glance at WhoScored’s player ratings for the game tells you where the problems are. The top player on the Blues team was Hakim Ziyech, who was actually pretty poor overall. His 7.6 rating comes purely from the fact that he scored our goal.

Looking at the lowest rated, it’s not often you can say Mason Mount is the worst player on the Chelsea team. His 6.2 was even lower than Callum Hudson-Odoi and Romelu Lukaku’s efforts.

The midfielder was anonymous, but there aren’t many Chelsea players who can step forward and say they did much better last night. It was a poor show all round.
