Chelsea will today finally announce a new front of shirt sponsor for the rest of the season after the Premier League finally confirmed the sign off for it.

It’s taken months because the league had been doing extensive checks on it, but it now looks like Infinite Athlete will be announced today as Chelsea’s new front of shirt sponsors.

And according to The Evening Standard, the deal is reportedly worth £43million and will last only until the end of the season, with Blues executives already working on a longer-term sponsor from next summer.

The Telegraph report that the deal did not go through in time for Infinite Athlete’s logo to appear on Chelsea’s shirts against Brighton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, but it could be on show in next Monday night’s Premier League game against Fulham.

So tonight’s game will be the last time that Chelsea will play with sponsor-less shirts!
