Chelsea youngster Andrey Santos joins Nottingham Forest on loan

Chelsea have confirmed that Brazilian youngster Andrey Santos has joined Nottingham Forest on loan.

The 19-year-old signed for Chelsea in January from Vasco de Gama but immediately re-signed for the Rio club on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Santos impressed during the Blues pre-season tour to America but with squad places at a premium in west London, the teenager has now been allowed to leave for Forest.

It seems unlikely that the South American star will feature in Forest’s game with Manchester United at the weekend but could make his debut next week in their EFL Cup clash with Burnley.
