The Senegalese striker is facing six to eight weeks out with a hamstring injury picked up against West Ham. Fellow forward Marc Guiu is also facing a significant spell out with a hamstring issue, leaving the Blues light in the final third.

Elsewhere, Romeo Lavia is not expected back until March, though Wesley Fofana has returned to training. Benoit Badiashile, Omari Kellyman and Mykhailo Mudryk remain unavailable through injury or suspension.
