Arsenal win at Manchester City with late double, Chelsea take advantage with big scoreline, while Liverpool defeat Manchester United.

Arsenal launched a late comeback to dramatically win 2-1 away to leaders and title favourites Manchester City.

Frida Maanum forced a save from Khiara Keating but Man City struck first in the 17th minute, with Lauren Hemp whipping a shot on the turn into the far corner of the net.

Laia Codina could not make the most of a chance to level straight after the break, before at the other end Manuela Zinsberger kept a Mary Fowler effort out with her boot.

Beth Mead was gifted the ball outside the box but was wasteful, Zinsberger got away with a ball played straight to Filippa Angeldal.

Stina Blackstenius put Caitlin Foord through on goal but pulled the shot the wrong side of the City post, but when Foord headed on a late corner, Blackstenius stretched to volley home.

Then two minutes into the added nine, Kim Little delivered the ball for Blackstenius to head the Gunners 2-1 up.

Chelsea ended the day just three points behind Manchester City with a game in hand and eventually a better goal-difference than them, after thrashing Bristol City.

Guro Reiten gave them the best of starts with an early penalty goal, Sjoeke Nusken bundled in the second for a 20 interval lead.

Aggie Beever-Jones and Reiten rifled in one each before the hour mark, the latter then completing her hat-trick with 20 minutes still to play.

Niamh Charles slipped in at the back post to score via a free kick, Reiten burying her fourth from 0utside the box.

Fran Bentley made a great save to deny Fran Kirby, Beever-Jones made it 8-0 to give Chelsea a better goal-difference than the leaders.

Liverpool edged Manchester United 1-0 in front of over 4,500 at Prenton Park, to leapfrog them into fourth place in the table with a game to go each.

The decisive moment came when Jenna Clark headed Liverpool in front during first-half stoppage time, from a Marie Hobinger corner.

West Ham were pegged back by Leicester City in a 1-1 draw, which left the Hammers three points behind the Foxes going into their last round of games.

Honoka Hayashi assisted in a breakaway move, as Riko Ueki netted in the 13th minute for the hosts.

Sophie Howard headed Leicester back level ten minutes short of the interval, from a Jutta Rantala corner.
