Chelsea will not sign Sancho, United open talks for Mbeumo – latest transfer reports | OneFootball

Jadon Sancho is set to return to Manchester United and will not sign for Chelsea on a permanent deal.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that Chelsea and Sancho could not agree on personal terms, and will pay a £5m penalty to United for not signing him permanently as previously agreed.

But Sancho is not set to stay at United and will now explore his options.

Ornstein also reports that Bryan Mbeumo has told Manchester United that he wants to join them from Brentford.

United have opened talks over a deal with the forward, but the Times say Brentford will want a fee of more than £60m to sign the Cameroon international.

And Fabrizio Romano says Bruno Fernandes has opted to stay at Manchester United amid interest from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, say Inter Milan are hoping to sign Manchester United and Denmark forward Rasmus Hojlund on loan this summer.

Elsewhere, Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Barcelona and Luis Diaz’s representatives have held talks over a possible move to the club from Liverpool.

Bild say Liverpool have agreed a contract with Florian Wirtz, however, though are still in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over the fee for the 22-year-old.

The German outlet are also reporting that Jobe Bellingham has chosen to join his brother’s former club Borussia Dortmund, who will start talks with Sunderland over a move for the midfielder.

Sky Sports say those talks are advanced and that Dortmund could pay around £25m for him.

The Mail say Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly is expected to sign a new contract with the club this summer.

His breakout season with the Gunners has reportedly attracted interest from Real Madrid but Arsenal are said to be confident of keeping hold of the youngster.

And the Sun say Inter Milan are weighing up a move for Man Utd’s Marcus Rashford this summer, who also has interest from Barcelona.
