A former Chief scout has just dropped a big Chelsea transfer bomb this week in news that will concern Chelsea fans to hear about.

The news comes after Chelsea were defeated by Arsenal in the Premier League yesterday, losing to a first half headed goal by Mikel Merino.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea in for THIRD Sporting player this summer after two agreements made!

The game was obviously not without its drama and Chelsea fans saw what they expect to see every time Robert Sanchez starts, and that is him making a silly mistake and giving away a goal. This time he got lucky, but Maresca continued to back his goalkeeper at the full time whistle once again.

Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber was seen mocking Maresca on the side lines in an interaction that has annoyed Blues fans even more.

All in all it wasn’t a good performance from Chelsea and it lacked intensity, desire, energy, and any kind of real belief that they could get something from the game.

But there are perhaps other concerns off the pitch too because if Chelsea do not make Champions League football this season, you get a sense that some players could push to leave.

Real Madrid in for Fernandez

Real Madrid are plotting a move to sign Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez as he could be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge this summer. That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown.

Nothing that happens at Chelsea would surprise me,” he told Football Insider.

“Fernandez has been an important player for them this season and he’s very much a part of the long-term plans under Maresca.

“But if a big offer comes in for him, I don’t think it can be ruled out that they’d let him go.

“Real Madrid have been having a look at him, they’ve got their own issues in midfield and Modric is coming towards the end of his time there.

“So if they decide they want to make a move for Fernandez, I think Chelsea will listen to the offer.

“If it’s a big offer, they will be tempted because that’s what the plan is there, they’ve got replacements already contracted to the club.

“I must admit it surprised me that Real Madrid are looking at him, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him make that move.

“I’ve said before – players usually find it very difficult to turn down Real Madrid when they come calling.
