Chelsea are reportedly monitoring the situation of PSV Eindhoven star Johan Bakayoko.

The 20-year-old’s incredible development has caught the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

The youngster joined PSV in 2019 and quickly progressed through the youth ranks before breaking into the first team.

He has featured in 40 games across all competitions this season, bagging eight goals and 13 assists.

The latest Chelsea news claims the club have been highly impressed with Bakayoko and have made him a top target for the summer transfer window.

The Blues have endured an underwhelming campaign and will look to make a comeback next season by making some quality additions.

Bakayoko is young and talented, and he could be a shrewd acquisition.

The Belgium international is described as a pacy forward with excellent balance who can play out wide or through the middle.

The winger has a contract at PSV until 2026, having penned an extension in February last year.

However, a deal will reportedly cost them around €50-60 million.

With several other top clubs monitoring Bakayoko, Chelsea must move fast to secure his services.
