Chelsea vs PSG live: The Blues cruise at halftime
At the break in this FIFA Club World Cup final, Chelsea are in full control, leading 3-0 against a stunned and outclassed Paris Saint-Germain.
The Blues have pulled ahead thanks to a clinical attacking display, capped by three brilliantly executed goals. The opener came from Cole Palmer in the 22nd minute, capitalizing on a defensive lapse by Nuno Mendes. Malo Gusto sparked the move with a perfectly weighted ball down the flank, Beraldo was left trailing, and Palmer finished with an unstoppable low drive.
Then, in the 30th minute, Palmer doubled the lead with a superb solo effort. Set up by Enzo Fernandez on the right, he cut inside, used Joao Pedro's run to pull the Parisian central defense apart, and curled a precise shot just inside Donnarumma's left post.
Finally, in the 43rd minute, Joao Pedro added Chelsea's third with a sublime chipped finish after a perfect assist from Palmer, who found himself completely unmarked in a passive Paris midfield.
Chelsea look rock-solid and are playing this final with remarkable composure. On the other side, PSG must find a way to respond and turn things around in the second half.
