Arsenal arrive in West London looking to bounce back from successive defeats. The Gunners have slipped down the Premier League table after three league games without a win. However, Arsenal have lost just one of their last 10 meetings with Chelsea.

Enzo Maresca has provided a positive update on the fitness of Cole Palmer, who sustained an injury late on in the draw at Manchester United last weekend. Palmer has been unable to train for much of the week but is in contention in a big boost to the Blues.

Jadon Sancho is also a doubt and Joao Felix or Christopher Nkunku are poised to come into the side if the winger and Palmer are ruled out. The pair each scored braces in the 8-0 win over FC Noah and Maresca has admitted he feels ‘shame’ at their lack of Premier League minutes this season.

Despite three assists on Thursday night, Enzo Fernandez is expected to make way. Maresca has preferred a central midfield pairing of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia of late.
