The third round of UEFA Champions League group stage matches is here and one of the matches is huge as it sees AC Milan face Chelsea. We have all the information you need to know ahead of kick-off.
Both sides have had very different starts to the group stages as Milan sit top and Chelsea are at the bottom. AC Milan have won one and drawn one whilst the Blues have lost one and drawn one.
People saw Group E as an easy one for the Premier League side and AC Milan, but Dinamo Zagreb and RB Salzburg have been underestimated and this makes the group even more exciting.
No doubt the atmosphere will be great with this being a huge match between two European giants and we hope that the game matches the high expectations of the fan base.
Chelsea vs AC Milan will take place on Wednesday 5th October 2022 at Stamford Bridge. The match will start at 8:00 pm UK time.
Football fans in England will be over the moon to hear that Inter vs Barcelona will be televised live on BT Sport. Coverage will start at around 7:30 PM.
If you are looking to live stream the big match, you can do so via the BT Sport app or Virgin streaming service.
You need to have an account or a monthly pass to access the live stream, so make sure you have everything you need prior to kick-off. The monthly pass costs £25.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will be without Edouard Mendy, Jorginho, Marc Cucurella and N'Golo Kante.
Predicted AC Milan XI: Tatarusanu; Dest, Kalulu, Tomori, Ballo; Tonali, Bennacer, Krunic, De Ketelaere, Leao; Giroud
In the UEFA Champions League, the two sides have only met twice. Both of these matches have been a draw, so if there is a win at Stamford Bridge, it will be the first between the two sides in this competition.
The betting markets have Chelsea as the favourites for this match, and understandably so.
Playing AC Milan will be very hard for Chelsea; however, they have a strong squad and arguably it is stronger than Milan's. With this in mind, we think Chelsea will be able to come out on top.
