Chelsea will be hoping to move onto double figures in their UEFA Women’s Champions League group when Swiss club Servette FCCF provide the opposition at Kingsmeadow this evening.

The Blues were emphatic 7-0 winners in the reverse game a week ago as they claimed their second victory in the group stage and another win tonight would move them to within touching distance of qualification.

Ahead of Chelsea’s latest group match, FAWSL Full-Time have been looking at the UEFA statistics surrounding the fixture. Here are four facts which relate to Chelsea’s group game against Servette.

Goals, goals, goals for Chelsea

Chelsea have scored in 19 of their last 20 UEFA Women’s Champions League matches and have managed two or more goals in nine of their last 12 games in the competition. The Blues also go into Matchday 4 as the top scorers in this season’s group stage with 12 goals. Servette face a monumental challenge at Kingsmeadow.

Kingsmeadow is a fortress

Chelsea have won seven and drawn two of their last nine UEFA Women’s Champions League matches in their own stadium. German club VfL Wolfsburg were the last team to defeat Chelsea on their own soil back in 2018 when they were 3-1 winners.

Last chance saloon for Servette

The visitors could be eliminated from the competition this evening if results don’t go their way. Servette will be unable to finish in the top two if they lose and the other game does not end in a draw, or if they draw and VfL Wolfsburg beat Juventus.

Servette FCCF still await first group stage goal

Going into Matchday 4, Servette FCCF were one of four teams yet to score in the group stage. The other three sides were WFC Kharkiv, Breidablik and Benfica. The latter netted their first goals in a 2-1 win over BK Häcken last night.

The UEFA Women’s Champions League group fixture between Chelsea and Servette at KIngsmeadow kicks-off at 8pm. Tickets are now on general sale and can be purchased by clicking here. Fans who are unable to attend the match can stream the action live on DAZN.
