Chelsea turn to Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet
Tribal Football
Chelsea are eyeing a surprise raid on Burnley.
TalkSPORT says Chelsea have identified Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet as a potential alternative to Leeds United ace Raphinha.
Cornet has emerged as a target after he netted nine goals for Burnley last season despite their relegation.
Chelsea agreed a fee in the region of £60 million for Raphinha earlier this week, though a deal has not yet been finalised. This is because the Brazilian is continuing to hold out for a move to Barcelona, who are trying to come to an agreement with Leeds.
Cornet, meanwhile, is expected to leave the Clarets after last season's relegation.
