Chelsea striker Jude Soonsup-Bell says the players are up for tonight's FA Youth Cup semifinal against Nottingham Forest.
With Manchester United already through to the final, following their win over Wolves in the first semi-final, they await the winners of Chelsea and Nottingham Forest.
Soonsup-Bell has already made history of his own in this competition against Barnsley, becoming the first Chelsea player to score four in the competition in 59 years. As well as that he made his senior team debut in the 2-0 EFL Cup win over Brentford.
"I do not focus on the noise and the social media even though the fans and the praise is great, I cannot let any of it get to my head," he told the club's website.
"Taking a step up in age groups has been tough as I have not scored as many goals as I would have expected but I can still make this season a great one from a personal and team perspective if we can rally together and make the final."
The 18-year-old also made mention of the impact of development squad manager Andy Myers and Under-18s manager Ed Brand, both aiding his development just as they have done for familiar attackers who have won the FA Youth Cup.
"Ed and Andy are amazing, they both overseen Tammy Abraham, Ike Ugbo, Dominic Solanke, Callum Hudson-Odoi at different points and have provided tips for them to be as successful as they are now. I want to follow on in their footsteps.
"I am looking forward to the game against Forest and applying some new techniques that both coaches and their teams have taught me."
