Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has agreed terms on a three-year contract at Marseille as the forward nears an exit from Chelsea.
Aubameyang is free to leave Chelsea after a disappointing return to the Premier League last season, with the 34-year-old scoring just one league goal and making just five starts.
The Gabon international had been linked with a move to The Saudi Pro League, but is now closing in on a move to Marseille.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Aubameyang has agreed terms on a three-year deal and negotiations between the two clubs are ‘not expected to be complicated’ with all three parties keen to get a deal done.
The transfer will see Aubameyang return to the nation of his birth after previous Ligue 1 spells at Lille, Monaco and Saint-Etienne. He scored 41 goals in 97 appearances for the latter and was named in the 2012/13 Ligue 1 Team of the Season before signing for Borussia Dortmund.
Aubameyang will replace Alexis Sanchez at the Stade Vélodrome after last season’s leading scorer departed Marseille on a free transfer earlier in the window.
