Chelsea and Tottenham are amongst a raft of European giants chasing Palmeiras wing-back Gabriel Menino.
The 20-year-old has been called up for the Brazil national team but he is yet to make his international debut.
Mundo Deportivo says Chelsea and Spurs are rivaling Atletico Madrid and Juventus in Menino ahead of the summer market.
Menino has a €60m (£51m) release clause in his deal but Palmeiras are said to be willing to accept an offer of around €20m (£17m) as a result of the financial effects of the stadium lockouts.
Premier League sides are expected to start targeting more South American players, following changes to the FA's work permit rules for overseas signings as a result of Brexit.
The criteria means players are awarded work permits on a points basis, with points earned based on criteria which includes international caps and the quality of the league they ply their trade in.
