Chelsea sponsor appears to announce new ownership takeover is done | OneFootball

It looks like the Chelsea takeover is finally set to officially be confirmed, or at least that is what one of the club sponsors believe.

Trivago appear to suggest that the new ownership takeover is done, if their latest tweet is anything to go by, sending social media into a frenzy!

Of course, reports yesterday surfaced that it was not done yet and even that it was in doubt. I never actually believed any of that and I would be more inclined to believe the tweet from Trivago actually. It has a feel of being really close now and just an official announcement from Chelsea away.

It needs to be done and dusted by the end of this month when the special license for Chelsea to operate ends, so you’d be expecting to be soon hearing the official announcement anyway. Untyil then, I’m with Trivago and just assuming it’s done and dusted!!
