Chelsea set to make offer for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen

Premier League side Chelsea are now set to make an offer for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Chelsea now want to beat Paris Saint-Germain in the race for the Nigerian striker and in the next few hours, they want to make an offer for the player. They will also make an offer to his agent soon enough.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea can match the asking price of Napoli and pay what the player wants and it has been previously reported that PSG will make an offer for the player and their offer will be rather low than what Napoli wanted throughout the last few months.

Osimhen is currently out of the Napoli project and he hasn’t featured in the first three games for the club. He has a lofty release clause in his deal but it seems as if no club has come forward for him and that is why a lower offer may tempt Napoli.
