Manchester United are expecting Chelsea to make a formal bid for winger Alejandro Garnacho, according to reports.

Sky Sports say the Blues are readying an offer for the Argentinian, who Man Utd value at £50m.

But they claim Chelsea think they can get him for “significantly less” than that asking price.

Meanwhile, RMC Sport say Manchester City have held conversations with PSG over signing Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Italy international appears to have been frozen out at the French club, having been left out of the squad for their Super Cup clash with Tottenham on Wednesday.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Inter Milan are also among the clubs reportedly keen on the 26-year-old.

Fellow goalkeeper Ederson could leave Man City, however, with Galatasaray approaching the club over a possible deal, Fabrizio Romano says.

Elsewhere, various reports claim Liverpool are trying to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.

The Reds have long been interested in the England international and are looking to add to their squad in central defence before the window shuts.

But Palace want a big fee for the 25-year-old, despite his contract running out at the end of next season.

The Liverpool Echo also say Parma centre-back Giovanni Leoni is another central defensive target this summer. Sky Sports add that they are in advanced talks with Parma for the 18-year-old.

Manchester United have not made had any official contact with Brighton for midfielder Carlos Baleba, Sky Sports say, and add that AC Milan have held positive talks with United over a move for Rasmus Hojlund.

The Athletic say Leeds United have agreed a deal in principle to sign free agent striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, following his departure from Everton earlier this summer.

After completing a deal to sign defender Malick Thiaw from AC Milan, Newcastle are now turning their attentions to trying to complete a deal for Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey.

The Mail say Real Madrid are among several teams interested in Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton.

And Atalanta have made a £34.5m offer for Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz, Sky Sports are reporting.
