Chelsea have confirmed the departure of American goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina on Friday.
The 20-year-old has joined Barnsley FC of the English third tier for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Slonina previously played in MLS for the Chicago Fire and was recently on loan with Belgian side KAS Eupen. He has kept 21 clean sheets in 77 senior club appearances.
He is the latest player to leave Stamford Bridge as the Blues continue to make room for a long list of new signings.
Earlier on Friday, Chelsea were linked with a move for Wolves winger Pedro Neto, while Conor Gallagher is a step closer to departing for Atletico Madrid.
