Chelsea fans held their breath as N’Golo Kante played a full 90 minutes for France on Wednesday evening.
Blues fans were hoping that Kante would be used sparingly, with his recent injury niggles really scuppering his consistency in the last couple of seasons.

Thomas Tuchel has spoken about managing him wisely, knowing that as he hits the age of 30, injuries will always be more occurrent.
But once again the French international has been injured, and he has returned back to Stamford Bridge from international duty.
Chelsea have posted their verdict on the injury via their website, and luckily it does sound positive.
They mention it as ‘a small hamstring injury,’ and after having ‘clinical and radiological examinations’ on Thursday, it has ‘revealed a small lesion.’
The fact they keep using the word ‘small’ is very reassuring, and hopefully this means we wont lose the midfielder for more than a couple of matches, if any.
